| | Franklin County has begun work to widen and rebuild Georgesville Road. The project involves adding turn lanes that will widen Georgesville Road from four lanes to six and seven lanes in front of the casino. The improvements will be made between West Broad Street and a set of railroad tracks just south of the casino property on the former site of a Delphi Automotive Systems plant. The project also will include replacement of the water line along Georgesville Road and new sidewalks and curbs.
