Transmission was failing and pulled into the service. The adviser told me that the style o transmission couldn't be rebuilt and that I had to get a rebuilt from GM which was substantially more money. I asked him a few questions and was prompt to answer with out an baloney. I asked how long it would take and he explained how the mechanic who fixes the transmissions was busy and it would be the following week which was OK with me since I have multiple cars. We purchased a 2013 GMC Acadia. We are a family of 6, we had 3 SUV's and had to take 2 vehicles everywhere we would go, because we didn't have enough room in just one vehicle.
